GoGoBot’s ‘Survey Says Dance’ to feature on BBC1′s Waterloo Road

We are chuffed to announce that Survey Says Dance, a single taken from the innovative See Saw Series (a collection of six singles released in 2011) by our very own GoGoBot is set to ring out in the school corridors of the prime time BBC 1 series – Waterloo Road at 8pm tomorrow night. The track is the perfect reflection of the trails and tribulations of teenage adolescence. Waterloo Road is in it’s eighth series and pulls in a weekly viewing figure of over 4 million viewers.

The River 68′s are special guests of The Temperance Movement

We are excited to announce that our very own The River 68′s will be playing at Nice N Sleazys in Glasgow tomorrow night (Tuesday 11th September) as special guests of The Temperance Movement. Hailing from both Glasgow and London, The Temperance Movement are an explosive rock n’ roll band so paired with The River 68′s it’s sure to be a fantastic show. Tickets are £8, and available here.

Hue and Cry raise over £1000 for the STV appeal

We’re very proud of Hue and Cry who raised over £1000 for the STV Appeal. Pat and Greg joined comedian Fred MacAuley for 18 miles of the West Highland Way to raise money for the charity, which culminated a tremendous £1,913,080 in total after last Fridays live TV show. A massive thank you to all who supported them, and of course the appeal – it is a fantastic cause and we’re proud to be a part of it.

The River 68′s perform at the ‘Ignition’ finale at The Old Fruitmarket

We are pleased to announce that The River 68’s have been invited to headline the final of ‘Ignition’, a new initiative for young bands at the The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on Friday 28th September. Ignition is run by YRock and Hear Glasgow and showcase’s upcoming bands. The River 68’s, along with Suspire, have been invited to play at the final gig with selected bands who have appeared in the previous showcases. The gig is free to attend, you just need to register on the YRock website.

GoGoBot to play King Tut’s as special guests of The Farm

We are pleased to announce that GoGoBot have been invited to perform as special guests of The Farm at their King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut show on Friday 31st August. More Hue and Cry Stripped gigs announced…

After a fantastic response to the Hot Wire Stripped tour we are very pleased to announce that more dates have been added to the Hue and Cry live calendar. Pat and Greg will be taking to the road again to perform intimate ‘stripped’ performances of Hue and Cry classics and tracks from the new album ‘Hot Wire’ in both Stockton (9th August) and Sale (10th August) as well as making a return to the Darwen Library Theatre (11th August) as part of the Jazz and Blues Festival. Hue and Cry join Isle of Wight lineup

We are delighted to announce that Hue and Cry have been confirmed to perform at this year’s spectacular Isle of Wight festival on Saturday 23rd June.

The full 7 piece Hue and Cry band will be taking to the Big Top Stage, joining a fantastic line up across the weekend with the likes of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Joan Armatrading, Madness and Big Country.

The 90,000 capacity festival takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight June 22nd – 24th June 2012, tickets are onsale and available online or on 08444 99 99 55.

New Hue and Cry Stripped shows announced

We are delighted to announce two fantastic additions to the Hue and Cry calendar this summer. On Thursday 5th July, Pat and Greg will be performing a stripped show as part of the Kilmarnock Fair Festival. The show will take place at Centre Stage Music Theatre, and tickets are available from the Center Stage Box Office (01563 551505) or online.

Also, Pat and Greg will be donning their berets and heading to French vineyard territory on 29th August to play a stripped show as part of the Pop Sur Bonnes festival which is held at Les Colonnes country house in Bonnes, near Bordeaux, France.
