Bursting onto the scene in 1987, Wet Wet Wet are undoubtedly a musical phenomenon. With an incredible back catalogue of songs including three UK No.1’s – the Glasgow lads have made an incredible impact with their music over the years, making them one of the most successful bands in British pop history.
Hue and Cry
Hue and Cry exploded into the UK music conscious in the late 1980s with classic albums, ‘Remote’ and ‘Seduced and Abandoned’. Hit singles including ‘Looking for Linda’ and ‘Labour of Love’ are now embedded as part of the soundtrack to many people’s lives and indeed, have formed an important musical commentary on British politics.
Red Sky July
Red Sky July is the side-project from three well-respected and lauded musicians. Consisting of husband and wife duo Ally McErlaine and Shelly Poole, and singer Charity Hair, Red Sky July is an entirely original debut album from a group with a phenomenal pedigree, all of whom have been steeped in music for as long as they can remember.
Formed in 2015, Anchor Lane are a heavy rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The four piece have quickly made a name for themselves as a band to see live. Support slots with artists such as RavenEye, Sick Puppies, Bad Touch, Mason Hill, Warrior Soul, Manny Charlton (Nazareth) and Kee Marcello (Europe) have proven Anchor Lane can hold their own alongside well-established rock bands.
In 2017 Anchor Lane released their debut EP ‘New Beginning’, highlighting the band as mature songwriters with a talent for writing powerful riffs. They followed this up with the video for their stunning single, fan favourite ‘Finished For Twelve’.
