Hue and Cry will be releasing a brand new album on 19th March entitled Hot Wire. The album is filled with New Orleans inspired funk and will be available as CD, digital download and as part of the Limited Edition Ultimate Collector’s Box . The Limited Edition Ultimate Collector’s Box will be strictly limited to a run of only 1,000, all individually numbered and supplied with an official certificate of authenticity hand signed by the band themselves. Each one comes tenderly packed with the Hot Wire album on both gold compact disc and twelve inch vinyl formats along with an incredible raft of additional exclusive items such as:
DVD containing bonus audio & video material including two additional songs and ‘the making of Hot Wire’ documentary; ‘Duty To The Debtor’ CD single; Hot Wire manual featuring lyrics & ‘How To’ guide; photographic print; car sticker; keyring; and a button badge.

No Half Measures
The first Hue and Cry single to be lifted from the Hot Wire album will be the song ‘Duty To The Debtor’. The single which has been specially edited, mixed and mastered for its release is already being heard across the airwaves and will be available as a digital download from your favourite online music provider from the 11th March. We are excited to announce that Hue and Cry will be joining the Average White Band on stage as special guests on Friday 3rd February at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of this year’s Celtic Connections Festival. Pat and Greg will be performing with the Average White Band during their set when everyone will play special renditions of an Average White Band song and a Hue and Cry song, plus another couple of surprises! Pat and Greg are delighted to be joining a fantastic line up of special guests who also include Scottish singer/songwriter Niki King and Michael Marra. This is set to be a stunning night of music, set in one of the city’s most vibrant music venues. Tickets are onsale now and can be purchased from www.celticconnections.com.
